Then i played with the background (a photo that i took in Delft)
and coloured the lady.
Finally a shabby border with also e few effects and Whalla.
Happy Hour was born but my tea cold.
Theme ; Before and After.
There are times , when i'm search the internet for a image, that Mr. google suprises me with the most unexpected sites ! So happened it recently that i discovered the art of Donald Zolan by big5.wallcoo.com
I had never heard, or had read of him, but at the first moment that i saw his paintings, i felt from my chair.
I had to create a scenery with a piece (the girl) of his art, so i downloaded two.
It was so much fun and this is the result. (Click to enlarge.)

Theme ; Challenge by Art Creations Friday.
Thank you for the lovely image of the little girl JoAnne (and Hermine !!)
I mixed a few styles together. A little surrealism (i've created the background by myself). Used a few perspective techniques - a lot over overlays, filters and a texture that i found > HERE <
Thank you for looking.
And again another freebie collage-sheet for you that you can download (as a PSD file) at my website. Enjoy !!
this is a SMALL SAMPLE

Yesterday i discovered that one of my favorite site's has decided to stop.
Artarazzi.
A digital challenge blog with a small but lovely group of crafters and hosted by Vron.
I'm so sorry to see it close because Artarzzi had a special place in my heart.
It was the FIRST blog i ever participated and as some of you know, i only take part on three.
When i came ; by a friendly Dutch blogger Sija, in contact with Artarazzi, i knew not yet well what to do. I saw so many brilliant entries there...was i "good" enough to take part ? And my English language...phew I was so in doubt (my nature)!!
Hesitated i placed my FIRST photoshop work and linked to my freubel site...not knowing what the impact would be !
Within no time i got so many hearty reactions and i didn't know what happened .
It was so heart-warming and so i became a 'member' of my first challenge blog.
And now...Artarazzi is closed.
Ofcourse i respect Vron's decision ! I can't imagine how much work it is to host a challenge blog ! The only thing that we crafters have to do is to link our art.
What happens "behind the screen" all that managing and visits to your partcipators !
I would realy had not the time for all those things.
And therfore...Vron, I hope you will read this...
Thank you so much for running Artarazzi and that it was YOU , who took me (without knowing) into this wonderful blogworld. For that I will always be grateful !!
PART THREE
of the Banner-Shapes-Freebie.
My yearning to create is a never ending story :-)
I decided to make a EXTRA freebie named "Shabby Buttons".
Perhaps you can use them to decorate your banner ??
Anyway..... feel free again to download them on my site riandesign.eu
and hearty greetings from me !
ENJOY !
Theme ; Challenge by The Three Muses.
I have really missed it to take part and to visit you all ! But ooohh my, what a incredible and fantastic vacation i have had !
One of my hobbies is to 'jump' regulary from fleemarkets to antique shops and from there to curiosa stores ! And you know what ? I visit a lot this holiday.
I bought some amazing vintage books and postcards which i want to share with you soon. And photos ! I have sooo much to scan and safe to create and give more freebies.
But FIRST...my entrie and Charlie C. !
I have used a personal photo as a background. I took it last week when Johan and I visit our parlement-buildings in "het Binnenhof" in The Hague If some one want this photo....please ask and i will place it on my website where you can download the orginal. Oke ??
Warm greetings Rian.

Feel free to change them, but please credit me.
How you can do this on a easy manner in Photoshop ?....
Just place your choise of your coloured paper ABOVE the 'banner-shape-layer' and then press Alt+Ctrl+g .
To 'merge down' those 2 layers press Ctrl+e

And again a example for a little inspiration.
