Marja , my previous DT member made some awesome cards with a few elements from my collage sheets and sent them to me !!  Don't they look phenomenal ?

As you all know I work only digital and to receive these handmade cards (which btw are hanging now in my pc room) makes me so grateful !!

Well, someone who I always admired was my.....Dad !!!

He had the positive quality to always see the humor in little things

and I am convinced that, when he could see this steampunk selfportait of him,

he would roll over with laughter and fell off his cloud :-)

I've blended three photos and played a little with gradients and curves in Photoshop to achive a rather vintage colored look.

My way to grief....

She's still following me everywhere

and how hard I try to realize that time heals all wounds....

I still cry and feel heartbroken about losing my soul mate.

Making this piece helped me to fill that empty place in my heart

I can only cry and I'm heartbroken.

Today came the dreaded day..... we had to put Murphy to sleep...

I was trying so hard to focus on what was best for her.

Saying goodbye....whispering her sweet words in her ear

 hug her and holding her in my hands for the last time...

Trying desperately to comfort her....

Now...I'm still in disbelief.......

I LOVED her so much

and that's ....

what I always will do....my darling Murphy.....

Sometimes life sucks......

Right now we face a major dilemma....

Murphy, our sweet 15 year old dog is getting sicker and sicker and since last Friday, she can hardly walk.

The last few days we took her every day to the vet....hoping on a miracle

It is not only her partial paralysis that we have dealing, the vet discovered also a  small but fast growing tumor right under her tail.

I know.....the time is there for my little and precious Murphy

but it's so hard to handle....

even though everyone tells me she's already old and that there is no cure....

I can't decide.......

Just cry......

Typography time again :-)

I've made two ATC's and typed a LOT of words.

The first one is filled with 49 music-STYLE-words

with a rather Retro effect

The second one is filled with 69 music-INSTRUMENTAL-words

with a grunge effect.

Yesterday evening I visited a hot air balloon event in my hometown.

The balloon festival was organized for the Kids Foundation Sorriso (www.sorrisokids.com), a foundation with heart and soul for underprivileged children in Arraial d'Ajuda, Brazil.
