What a difficult decision it has must be for the ladies of ACF.
There where so many amazing and unique ARTworks to see ! I'm glad that i didn't have to choose one. For me they were ALL winners !!

I've used a personal photo of a vacation in Germany a few years ago.
Altered it in photoshop with; textures (made by myself this time)
changed blendingmodes - opacities - curves - different adjustmentlayers
etc. etc.
The background from Hermine i have cut in pieces !
I've duplicate the fish stamp, used a part of the background for the sky
and placed "dreams" in the centre.
When you enlarge my entry i think it's better to see.
Thanks kindly for looking and hearty greetings to you all.

Dus dames...deze keer geen "moeilijkdoenerij" maar gewoon weer 'ns een keer lekker op z'n Hollands.(leest zo gemakkelijk weg hè)

Alleréérst wil ik jullie graag feliciteren met jullie 1e verjaardag !!

En ten derde...wil ik hier graag eens mijn BEWONDERING voor jullie uitspreken voor die wékelijkse uitdaging. Ga d'r maar aanstaan !! Iedere week trouw een plaatje/photo/achtergrond enz. enz. aanbieden. En dan ook nog vaak persoonlijk gemaakt of gekocht !! Vervolgens al die deelnemers bezoeken en er 'n commentje typelen. Hoe tijdrovend moet dat voor jullie wel niet zijn !!

En dan wij...jullie deelnemers. Ik kan tuurlijk alleen maar voor mezelf spreken maar jullie moesten 'ns wéten hoeveel plezier ik tijdens m'n gefreubel heb !
Wanneer ik jullie uitdaging weer "voor mijn kiezen" krijg (lol) blijft 't steeds weer 'n verrassing HOE LANG ik er soms over doe, (jaja NACHTwerk maar dat vind deze uil hélemaal niet erg) en wat 't uiteindelijke resultaat is.

Wat ik ook nog graag wil delen is 't volgende... zonder dat jullie daar notie van hadden, heeft ACF voor mij ook zoveel deuren geopend!
Niet alleen mijn pers. groei met het photoshop programma wisten jullie te stimuleren...maar ook de deur naar het WORLD WIDE WEB w.b. challenges. Mede door jullie heb ik zoveel dames leren 'kennen' en ook dat waardeer ik enorm !

Tot slot; Lieve dames, nogmaals 'n dikke veer voor jullie en ik hoop nog vaak mee te kunnen doen ! Héél veel dank van mij! xxx

In continuation on my blog below, i've played with another botanical print.

Such as a lot of you probable do, I'm also frequently in search to find images that i can use for my "freubels".
When i can't find them in my 'culture/art' books (or in the books of my sister) I surf many evenings on the internet.
Hours long you find nothing that is 'fancy' and then unexpectedly something falls into your lap !
Until yesterday evening I had never heard of Ernst Haeckel ! Whereas I was searching of botanical flowers, Mr.Google showed me a book of lithographic and autotype prints by this German biologist.
My god...these were BRILLIANT !! Unique ánd Spectaculair !!
Perhaps that someone of you knew him already but for me it was a "WANNA-HAVE".
I've surfed immediately to Wikimedia to learn more about this man and his Art and saw that his images where placed in the commons-sector.
And however i'ts NOT MY KIND OF THING to steal images of wiki (and then make a collage sheet to SELL them !!) Grrrrr...
I have made a exception this time. I only cut them out for those persons who also like his art and to share it (ofcourse) as a "FREEBIE". This one, I don't claim as my own !!
I only hope that you will enjoy the art of Ernst Haekcel, just as I do.

Two options came up to my mind for this weeks challenge.
First; it was my intention to photographing my own hand with my keys, but (as usual) the time did'nt allow me to do that.
Second; i considered to design a (naughty) key-RING. Something quit similar like the "bad taste bears" LOL. (i LOVE them :-))
Which option won?

Since my teenager years, i have a dream. To, (once in my life) discover the United States !
I'm thrilled about the idea to fly across the ocean, explore New York, the culture, meet people and to visit a few states of that huge content.
Many years' I dreamed of it...sitting in the backyard of my pa and mum,
how it would be.
And LET ME TELL YOU !! sometimes...DREAMS DO COME TRUE !!
In about two years...when my husband Johan and I celebrate our 30's weddingday we travel with our children to America. Hurraayyy :-)

A few days ago, i was busy to make a new freebie, i found a gorgeous background at "Het geheugen van Nederland". (A Dutch library website).
Thinking, how to change it, i thought let's go 'pastel' !
And although i seldom use these colours, I found this very nicely to try once.
I placed Pepeetjes gift into this background and WHALLA..there he is, coloured, altered and well.
