I found more challenging.

IT´S ALL ABOUT PNG FILES AND HOW THEY ARE OFTEN UNDERESTIMATED !!
Yesterday while I was visiting Marsha´s blog (tumblefishstudio.blogspot.com)
I was happily surprised about her "SHOUT" about how PNG images are so misunderstood!
Marsha writes in her blog about the great advantage of using png files instead of jpegs.
She explained EVERY detail between the differences and so on.
And I must say.....I was SOOOO thankful that she took the time to tell this. I would never get this done in the English version but she is SO RIGHT !!

In my shop I only sell PNG's.
No white backgrounds which needs to be removed ! But even if you don't work digitally...A PNG file can be used to print ! Isn't that stunning ?

Anyway...I really hope that you take the time to read Marha's blog and I bet that any persistent JPEG user, tacks!

About another misunderstanding;
PSD FILES !!
Most of my readers know that I share Freebies in this format.
I do that, to make it easier for you.
A psd file(PhotoShopDocument) is a layered file and easy to modify because the images are already cut out.
What many off you DO NOT KNOW is that the PSD formats can be opened in most editing programs including PSP !!
That is the advantage of it.

* A Troll Doll which I collected in the seventies ?
I had realy no idea until Mr. Google send me at this site HERE

YEP the SIXTIES also ! Because I was born that year (1960).

Finally an opportunity to participate in a challenge.
My first one, since six months ! Djeezzz what did I miss this.
Anyway....this design is made for the D.W.
Barbara, one of our Ning members asked Kimmie if she could start a challenge this week on the digital art of Maggie Taylor.
Maggie has been a favorite of her since she started working digitally two years ago.
And I agree with her. Maggie's website was one of the first that I added to my blog and if you don't know her yet, I encourage you hearty to take a look HERE.

I tried to imitate the art of Maggie but I think that no one succeeds !
The humor in our images...yes that corresponds with me, I do that often, but her style ?? Pfffjoei.
I think that my final result looks more like a "Freubel". LOL
But hey..i've tried and there are challenges for.

Why there is still one made?
Because I believe that crafters never have enough supply and it's in my nature to share with others.

Creativity does not stand still and when I look at myself, I'm always searching for unique (and miscelleaneous) pictures to use in my art.
Surfing the Internet brings a lot of inspiration but often images are not copyright free for use. Images at riandesign.eu are !!
That's why I offer the opportunity to purchase now my collage sheets.
I guarantee that they are made with copyright free elements so that nobody suffers.
And since I am in possession of many postcards I can keep the price low.
(During my long absence, I bought a lot on ebay and marketplace.)

I'm SO GLAD ! I'M RETURNING BACK !!

Today; the TENTH day of the TENTH month of Two Thousand TEN !
YEAHHHH.
I'm so gratefully and proud that I finally got the opportunity to open my re-newed website and shop !!
I know, I promised last month already to come back again but hey...I had an excuse !! I celebrated my 50th birthday in september ! LOL
Yep...Sarah came to visit me with a bunch of relatives, friends and neighbors
and a typical Dutch tradition is, that when some one is turning 50, that the birthday girl gives a BIG party !
Well..I HAVE !
My party lasted for three days and I was so spoiled by all !
(I almost dare not say but as a birthday gift I got a new car from my husband.
A little one !! To drive to work)
Now I have to work even HARDER to earn that money back hihi) Just kidding !!
But I was so happy with it and have spent the past week driven many miles. BRRRRROEMMM.

But anyway... from today I'm here more often to be found.
I really missed writing blogs and all my friends! (It feels like I lost the connection with you all and I've never intended this to happen.)
When I announced a few months ago a temporary stop, I had no idea it would last so long. I even have to practice my english again and I hope you find the way back to freubel-art.
As for me .... I will do my utmost to visit you all more often, and to answer more frequently when comments are posted.

Meanwhile, I also noticed that some of my Dutch (virtual) friends have switched to blogger! (Bye Bye spaces.live.com !!!) Welcome hearty here at my English blog, but
